Norfolk Farm Park helps “critical” rare cattle breed
A Norfolk farm park is helping to preserve one of the UK’s rarest breeds of native cattle. The Albion, is included on the Rare
After first opening to the public back in Easter 2002, Melsop Farm Park has gone on to become a hugely popular tourist attraction based in Breckland, Norfolk.
Keith and Sue Stone, along with their son, have worked enormously hard over the years to make Melsop an incredible place to visit and provide visitors with a day out that they will remember for a long time to come.
The farm boasts a number of facilities for children and families to enjoy, including indoor and outdoor play areas, a cafeteria, a gift shop and various locations filled with our many different species of animals.
It has been specially designed to allow maximum interaction with the animals as far as is possibly safe to do so. Our friendly and helpful staff are always on hand to provide assistance to anyone who wishes to interact with the many species that live at Melsop.
We are also able to offer a number of other services and opportunities which are listed below.
We offer our visitors an annual membership package which varies on price dependent on age. The benefits include:
• Unlimited visits for a whole year from the date of joining*.
• 10% discount in the gift shop.
• 10% discount in the cafeteria.
• 5% discount on birthday parties.
• Regular emails regarding forthcoming events.
*Please note that free admission does not apply to the Christmas Experience event or shows staged in the theatre where admission prices apply. Discounts may be available to members for these events.
You are also required to show your membership card when entering or else you will be charged. To find out more about becoming a member, please contact us by phone on 01953 851943 or email us at info@melsopfarmpark.co.uk.
