After being forced to close in June 2023, Melsop Farm Park, near Watton, will reopen its doors on Saturday 3rd February. The family fun farm
Melsop Farm Park is home to a multitude of different animals for you to experience. The farm is designed to allow all visitors to have the opportunity to interact with as many of the animals at the park as possible as far as is safe.
The main groups of animals living on our farm are Sheep, Goats Pigs, Cattle, Poultry and Waterfowl.
Melsop Farm Park Rare Breeds
When visiting Melsop Farm Park you will be able to get up close to our collection of rare and native breed animals. From the Middle White Pig and Albion Cattle to the Norfolk Horn and Bagot Goat and many more, our wide range of rare and native breeds is one of the largest in East Anglia.
The Rare Breed Survival Trust has five criteria for rare breeds, based upon how many registered breeding females there are left. The criteria vary for each type of animal.
